Trefor sits at the foot of Yr Eifl, a range of three hills that dominate the skyline above and has it's own small sandy beach and harbour. The village has a local pub and post office and there is a cornershop conveniently located across the road from the property. Dog friendly and suitable for families.
Pen Hendre is ideally situated for trips to the stunning beaches at Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn (20-25 min), the seaside vibrancy of Abersoch (30 min), Porthmadog and its narrow gauge steam railways (25 min), the UNESCO heritage site of Caernarfon castle (30 min) and Snowdonia National Park (30 min). If you'd rather explore closer to home there are a number of walks starting from Trefor ranging from short strolls to longer loops taking in the spectacular scenery of the coastal path. You'll be spoilt for choice!
